The lady is 75 and has had a terrible fall, she is now in a critical condition
we wish her well, Corrie wouldn't be the same without her

Ah no - that's awful news Bobbi. Maggie, aka Blanche, is one of the funniest characters on tv today. I love the things she comes out with and she is a tremendous actress. I hope she recovers well, and soon.

So, we won't see Blanche any more. I see that Maggie Jones made her final appearance on 20th November. The programme won't be the same without her. I just loved her character and her wit. RIP Maggie/Blanche.
