Countdown clock
8 Answers
Can anyone recommend a "safe" countdown clock that I can put on my desktop? I want to count down the days to 11/11/2018, the day I retire!
Not that I don't like my job and all that!!!

Chuck 'IT God & Lord of the Cyber Wave' Fickens - the "bad experiences" were not with any stuff for the laptop!!! Seriously, not being a computer wizz, I'm always worried that I'll download something nasty. I'd like it to be on my laptop desktop. I don't need it on my workdesk desktop as I will take great pleasure in reminding everyone personally that I only have 3000+ days left!!!
actually when I first read the question for some reason I assumed you were asking for a safe clock to put on your desk at work, which seemed a little odd :)
Anyhow, the one in my link will be safe, I trust download.com as a download site. ( haven't tried the software though and can't here at home (not got windows)
at the very worst it will try to install a toolbar of some kind, just keep an eye on all the options during the install and unselect any "extras" that are ticked.
