Since you have no idea what the spyware is doing, leaving on your computer isn't a good idea. Try downloading Malwarebytes from http://www.malwarebytes.org/ then install it and make sure you get the latest updates before doing a scan. Delete anything it finds (you may need to restart your computer to let it finish getting rid of some things).

hi again huderon,
ok, i did a complete computer scan with the malaware you suggested, it took over an hour to do and it came up with no infected files etc, so thats good?
does that mean there are no spyware on the laptop, even though the avg scan says theres 3 that cannot be removed? (there are no spyware in the vault, just warnings)
thanks for all your help, i do appreciate it

Anti virus scanners sometimes report clean files as being infected (these reports are false positives), so it is possible that that's what you are seeing. Malwarebytes is pretty good so I'd say you are probably clean. If you want to double check get the free version of Superantispyware at http://www.superantis...spywarefreevspro.html - again make sure you get the latest updates before running a scan. When I do run a check, I use both of those programs one after the other just to be sure.
