Impossible to answer, Blue. Might as well ask what sort of taste does milk chocolate have. You could start on Barolo by mentioning red berries and a hint of wild roses, with sometimes a mere touch of liquorice, but remember that each estate's wine will have a different taste to the others.

Like all Barolo, this is made 100% from the rich, savoury-flavoured Nebbiolo grape grown on the Alpine foothills of north-west Italy. From respected producer Ascheri, it has been made in a less tannic, fruitier style than the austere, traditional Barolos. This style of Barolo chimes in perfectly with the flavour of roast duck, calves' (or other) liver, kidneys, grouse, and other meaty dishes flavoured with thyme or oregano. The last time I had a Barolo it had a very full but still fruity flavour. Not too heavy on the tannin. This was some time ago. Barolo are usually out of my price range.

I find the price of Barolo doesn't match the taste. Most Malbecs are just as good and half the price, for example.
