Our local radio station is running a competition to win a brand new VW Polo car, by the throw of a dice ....sounds good eh? all one has to do is throw the dice to get a 6, 7 times in a row, what I'm wondering is what are the odds that this can be done? I mean 3 times would be hard but 7 Times??
I only hope the national papers are there to see if it can be done.

I recall someone doing this at a school fete. 6 sixes had to be thrown. They one a brand new Mini Metro (when they first came out!) Which shows how long ago that was!

I seem to remember a few years ago that the famous melton day in Leicestershire had a similiar comp and someone did win(not sure if that was a car though). I remember wasting a load of money though!

Any prize is usually covered by insurance. The radio station wouldn't be quaking in their boots. The odds are heavily stacked against.
