My son was excluded from school when he was in year 6 for a week for fighting in the playground,he had retaliated after another boy kicked him in the testicles, the other boy wasn't excluded, possibly because his father was a police officer who threatened to sue the school for what had happened to his darling boy.The other boy had no marks or injuries,my son was bruised and had trouble going to the toilet for several days.
maybe they should keep the parents in detention.
as soon as they are deprived of a bit of eastenders or blue peter they might start to take the duty of parenting responsibly.
they need to bring back scary teachers and the threat of corporal punishment, most of todays primary sch teachers are fluffy women who want to have babies soon. when I was at school the teachers were scary scary men and women, you didnt dare play up in class back then, tough yes but behaviour was good.
