When I was in my mid-late 20’s I used to live in Paris and unfortunately started smoking French cigarettes heavily (about 30-40 a day). This as a result has left me with stained teeth. Not dreadful, but also not pearly white!
Now I’m in my early 30’s and have been off the fags for 2 years now. Only problem is I want to get my teeth whiter. Asked the dentist about it, and he wanted a small fortune. So I decided to try other methods. Tried most of the regular tooth pastes out there like Pearl Drops etc. and although they have worked a little, the results are not fantastic. So I just wondered if anyone has any other methods or things they have heard of (the cheaper the better, as were all skint at this time of year!) Or should I just save up to have them whitened?
Tippex - nice!!!!
Thank Poodicat, i might give that a try, doesnt sound too nice, but worth a go!
As for Horslips...... I'm an Oceanographer and dont get paid much, but if your rich enough to be offering to pay for me..........
Eating green apples helps a lot so does drinking coke. My (french) dentist cleans my teeth with a bicarbonate of soda polish after scaling; couldn't yours do that?
don't try Eucryl or any smokers toothpastes.......my dentist who is anti-smoking was horrified when I said I was using smokers toothpaste.......he said it would strip the enamel from my teeth.....sorry save up and pay for the proper treatment......
ive never tried it myself, but on one of the shopping channels on tv ive seen 'blanx' being promoted and sold alot.
i think you use it like a tooth paste and the results are just ''amaaazin'' lol.
ive seen it sold in boots the chemist for about £10.99 i think it is.
might be worth a try :o)
Use an electric toothbrush. My teeth were horridly brown from a prescribed mouthwash, but since using an electric toothbrush they are much better! Also, visited a dental hygienist a couple of times, makes all the difference. Good luck!
