I've always had a strange relationship with sausagemeat.

No - I'm not vying for the 'bizarrest thread title of the week' - this is leading on from an answer I gave on another thread. As a child I would sneak into the pantry, squeeze the sausagemeat out of a sausage, and eat it raw. Sounds gross now - but I used to love it. I also used to eat raw (peeled) potato.

Maybe that's why I was so skinny as a child - I must have had worms for 10+ years.

What strange things did you used to like to eat as a youngster, which you would not dream of eating now?

Its just that I cannot stand a big lump of grisel in my mouth - puts you right of your sausages !!!!!

I used to sit on the floor and eat cat biscuits.
I too ate raw potato and occasionally still do, cant help it :o)

I used to chew on foil pie cases, I would do it for ages unless my mom caught me and took it off me

It was the lump of gristle as described by Den that really made me have to physically hold myself back. My God... that was tempting.

I used to eat dry cat biscuits, but when my sister was young she used to eat wet tinned cat food, eugh!

Also always ate muffin cases and refresher lolly sticks (the papery kind of ones!).
