back up discs

i got a compaq presario pc and did a back up cd....i thought it took 8 discs to do...but have only got 7 now...not sure if my little ones have lost 1...can anyone out ther confirm how many discs it takes please ......thanx

To be on the safe side do another backup and keep the disks in a secure place.

didn't it give you option to back up to one DVD?

Anyhow done now I guess.

put the CD's in the drive and see what they are called, that may give you a clue.

If not post back on here what they are called and somebody should be able to say if you've got the important ones, some of them will probably be just junk anyhow

cheers chuck...tried putting them in but it doesn`t say whats on them...dont fancy taking the chance of restoring to find i`m 1 short....will search my pc to see if i can restore to factory settings...thanks anyway
