ive not seen new moon yet and i want a baby, but im in a dillema, coz i been working on a temp contract for 6 months now and have just been permenent, i dont think it will look gud if i got myself up the duff....i dont know how long i should be a perm staff for maternity leave and i dont understand the directgov information, im a bit thick, they should do it idiot proof english

ring acas and ask for help, i think you have to have been working for 2 years permanent to get maternity pay but most women manage, if you plan it well you should be ok .
