Hi, sorry for noy keeping you all updated, Bob seems ok in himself still got a good appetite but is still finding it difficult to swallow his first mouthful, I have given him his medication every day, His scar is healing well and he is up and a bout in the evening up to his old tricks,( Hes already told the cat off for laying on the floor) I am just still so worried about the whole eating and diarroha lark so we are going to the vets at 4.40, I have been told it could take a few weeks and he has improved but not massively...I will keep you posted later.
thanks

We have just got back and the vet has felt his tummy and said its still painful but that is expected, his splean felt smaller so she could give him an anti inflamatory injection, he needs to be on antibiotics for 3 weeks as well as take antepsin (tummy settler), Well the antiinflamatory injection he had 1 hour ago has well perked him up, all he wanted was his dinner when we got in and he ate the whole bowl of Hills a/d WITHOUT tummy pain which is brilliant.
Willl keep you all informed later in the week
thanks everyone

Thanks all, you have all kept me going over the last 2 weeks there has been times where I have just wanted to sit and cry, you know what it is like when you are not getting alot of sleep and worry about everything and things get on top of you, bob is very much himself he kept us awake most of last night as he found the cat biscuits before he went to bed and played up like a 2 year old ( Ferrets have the mental age of a 2 year old they are very bright little critters ) when I removed them from his bed ( I think he was keeping them for a midnight feast ) he kept scratching his cage on purpose to come out every couple of hours so I had to take them off him once i realised his little plan as they would have caused him pain he is not ready for Kibble yet, He is so well in himself and there is some improvement in his eating but not massive so i want to take it very slow in introducing foods, there is a fresh chicken in the oven as we speak and i have a high protein diet to mix it with, thanks to everyone who has thought about him and i will post again next monday and let you all know how he is doing
Hi AB Editor,
Bob has had a wonder around this morning, He had some fresh liquidised chicken which he scoffed it abit to quick and gave himself acid reflux which he soon got over and wanted some more chicken, He is very well in himself into everything,he loves the christmas tree and the paubles, Terrifying the cats and budgie as normal.
I will take a photo later and put it on AB so everyone can see him.
Thanks for the intrest
