Hi, I don't think I am making this up. I am sure that I remember watching this. It would have been late 80's, all I can remember was there was this old guy, who I think was a teacher, he rode a bicycle and lived in a windmill. Also I am sure he had this huge bit of hair sticking out the middle of his head that he used to wiggle about and I thought that the hair did magic but that is just crazy!
My friends think I have lost it, someone please tell me I haven't !!!

I'm thinking, maybe Mr. Pastry but as everyone will yell back, he was way, w-a-ay B4 the late 80s (which, if truth be known, is probably why I remember him!).

The programme was called Mr Majeka played by Scottish Comedian Stanley Baxter.The video's do appear on www.ebay.co.uk now & again.

Justineo- I don't remember an awful lot about it either, all I remember is that Chish and Fips were cats I believe, they were puppets in the same way that Basil Brush is not like Sooty. It was all set in a garden and the garden gnomes used to talk to them. Hope it jogs your memory : )

Weren't Chish 'n' Fips garden gnomes?

I remember the programme but only recall one episode in detail... an old robot was thrown out and the garden gnomes tried making friends with it... that's about all I can recall !!!!!
