Is it safe to use my ipod on a sunbed?

Do you think it is safe for me to use my ipod on a sunbed? My friend in collage always used to use one whilst she was in the sunbed and now I'm going on to get a 'glow' for Christmas and am wondering if it's actually safe. Need something to make the 8 minutes go by fast!

not sure anything to do with sunbeds is safe. Can't understand why anyone would wish to give themselves the possibility of cancer when they don't have to. What has your ipod done to you?

other than taking the risk of getting skin cancer from the sunbed what would you expect could go wrong due to using an ipod? Unless something went on fire and perhaps you missed hearing a fire alarm due to it - that could happen anywhere though.

Sun beds could cause cancer. Could you not use a spray on tan?
And Ipods could make you deaf.....

does your ipod want a tan then? Anyway although i agree with the others about sunbeds (get a spray tan instead) i would say ask the salon assisstant, they will know.

I keep thinking of that final destination film where they get trapped in the sunbeds. they had their ipods on. Mind you they did burn to death horribly.

Absolutely not---- any kind of electrical equipment can react differently in conditions that are not normal for them. Don't take any chances of you being badly hurt. Being on a sun bed is enough risk on its own.

8 minutes is a terrible long time in this day and age, redcrx! A gal could shrivel up and die if deprived of media for that duration.
