KM Links Game - December week 2 results

Good morning everyone - to what will be a somewhat delayed version of the results. Though I realise it's pretty early for most of you, there may be one or two who have already finished the Herculis and who may be able to confirm the matches for today.

However if there are any different thoughts on these, would you like to post them for discussion/debate/
whatever and we'll take it from there. S

As usual you are spot on, at least by my reckoning, although I only got one right in my attempt on Saturday. However it means that I am maintaining my average pretty well!!

Well!!! We won't be giving your abacus any problems Steff................ It's a BIG FAT ZERO for us. Probaly won't be around for the last two weeks. We will be away for Christmas in the wilds of Yorkshire, so I don't know whether we will be able to get internet access. So I will take this oppertunity to wish you all a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS. Thanks for the all-clear, I must admit I couldn't really find another combination, but I wanted to be sure.


well, it was in stark contrast to last week's deluge - the Euro Market combo was a complete loss and only one wily entrant, PRESCOTT, picked up on Bolt Action, so the remainder of the not-very-many points were shared between Labour Force and London Pride - is there a limit to how many times Kate can use one combination ?? guess not, it is essentially, her game !!!

CENTRINO & AQUAGILITY were the hot-shots this week, each collecting 3 points for picking the two popular matches while a further 17 entries added a point, and the rest of us went Christmas shopping !!!

So our LEADER BOARD looks like this -

10 points - CHRISS

7 ponts - LYSANDER, GRANNYDI, CHRISTIANA, CLIFFGY, PRESCOTT, HANDBAGLADY, WICKEDTONGUE &
ANGLER [ who spends his time relaxing on the riverbank - are the fish biting ??]

6 points - AQUAGILITY and everyone else who was here last week !!!!

4 points - CENTRINO, BEEJAY1124, DEVADIVA, JRB & KEYBOARDIX.

And that just about winds it up for this week, Congratulations to all the points scorers, and the rest of us will try to do better next time, same place and time, when we gather Saturday morning..till then, have a good week and bye for now.......Steff

Well, apparently I have been gone Christmas shopping for the last twelve months!!!!

Does Prescott get an extra point for getting one that no-one else did? If not, why not? Is that quite a rare occurrence? or maybe I'm just trying to distract attention from my own dearth of points!!

Goodness me, this turned into quite a little party while I was asleep, but less of the negativity, you lot - especially you, x-ray - you're sitting on 3 points at present, with two weeks still to go so I shall have to make sure I post you in big letters - that way you can keep track !!

Rose - you ARE NOT at the bottom of the heap !!! [ I am, but don't shout about it !! ]

JimJools - have a ball in the wilds of Yorkshire and a wonderful Christmas and please take LOTS of woollies.

A dear friend of mine has taken leave of his senses and returned to his homeland to spend Christmas with friends in Perthshire, where I'm told it's been -6 lately, I'm scared he'll come back with frost bite but he's promised me a plastic bag of snow - don't know what customs will make of a bag of Scottish water - probably blow it up on the runway - lol !!!

And - angler - I think it's about time to pack your rods away for the time being and come inside to warm up - the fish will all be hibernating fairly soon, either that or gone to Teneriffe !!!

Grannydi - I do hope you're enjoying your month - I loved my chance earlier in the year, but don't let crofter dictate too much - I know the feeling, sitting there at the dot of 8.30, everything loaded and ready to go, and you're twiddling your thumbs, waiting for 8.45........and at 8.44, the phone rings !!!!
