just sat here watching the last minutes and seconds tick down on an item i was the sole bidder on on ebay and in the last 3 seconds a 50p higher bidder won it! would it have been the seller using another id as there were no other bidders in the last 7 days!

Dot, the winner of the auction probably used a sniping programme to outbid you. it sets up to place the highest bid in the dying seconds of an auction. if you google "ebay sniper" there are a few sites that do it.
Yes I too roll them at home if I am going out. Yes please-sir I have got a little machine I put a slimline tip in then you can roll as thin as you want.

No gooid i'm afraid. They are from the US so you have to have custom declarations and pay duty on them. No matter I'll keep looking. Thanks anyway.

I messaged the seller asking how the item was bought in the last 3 seconds and they have replied saying they are sorry and that they do not know who has bought it yer, how do they not know who the bidder is?
Dot, you lost fair and square. Get over it.

Why should the seller tell you who bought it?
Have to agree with PB Dotty, you lost the bid, crap happens. The seller is under no obligation to tell you who had the successful bid.

In future, do exactly the same and use a snipe option, it really works.
