Had it been Wise Women instead of Wise Men who visited the new born Jesus, they would have arrived on time, helped deliver the baby, cleaned the stable, done the washing, made a casserole, and brought nappies and other practical gifts!
None of this would have happen if had been 3 wise women.
First it would have taken 3 hours to get ready, then there would have been a long convesation about was the big shiny star was the right one, followed by her being a virgin right. Then thier would have been the trip to the shops to get the presents. I reckon the women would have got there about the 27th
Now come on Dave. Be fair. If the shoes don't match the outfit, or the hair doesn't go right, or the nail polish gets chipped, that all has to be sorted doesn't it? Anyway, even if the women didn't arrive until the 27th, they would still beat the men. They didn't arrive until 6th January. In the pub wetting the baby's head I expect. :o)
"they would have arrived on time, helped deliver the baby, cleaned the stable, done the washing, made a casserole".
I think that just goes to show that the men were somewhat wiser - I mean, who in their right mind wants to spend their Christmas cleaning, cooking, and changing nappies?
