have to be religeous to get job
6 Answers
My sister has filled out an application form for a cristian centre nursery as a cook, the odd thing being that half the form asks about her religeous life (outside of church too !!!) What The Funicular ??? surely this is religeous discrimination ? don't give a toss its a cristian nursery, they want a cook and naturally she will be CRB checked and interviewed to see if she is appropriate but to paractically demand that she be of their religeon surely is illigal ?

This has annoyed me.Surley the best person for the job is the best cook.As cook, would she even have any contact with the children,in respect of influencing them.Would the employers be more concerned if she was ,say vegan, and wanted to get more of the children to eat a vegan diet. Was she asked this, which I think would be a more relevant question for a cook?
I just think these days some religions get away with more than they should.
Sorry about the rant, hope she gets the job if she wants it.
