Struggling with two clues:

15 ac "One rubbed on to skinexcept round top of leg (5)". I have B_L_E. Could ir be BULGE? If so why?

20 ac "Tiara initially pope's headgear (6). I have T_R_A_. I think it must be TURBAN. But why?

Any help would be appreciated!

and there were at least eight popes by the name of Urban

15a I thik the B may be wrong. SALVE will fit save (=except) around L (top of leg).
20a is OK - several popes were called Urban.

Clearly I have a wrong answer for 10d. I had RABBI. Needs rethinking!
I didn't know that there was a Pope Urban!
