Mobile phones

Like computers have an operating system such as Windows XP or Vista etc. I presume mobile phones
have too such as Vodaphone or Orange, I have just purchased a second hand mobile (a Motorola W375) which operates on the tesco system, it is now sim free so I can use any sim card but I do not like the Tesco operating system is it possible to download the O2 system to the phone and if so how?
all of my other phones have been O2 and it is a system that I like & get on well with.

phones do have an OS, but it's nothing to do with the service provider, a motorola phone will have motorolas OS on it.

It may still have some tesco branding on it, but that makes no difference to anything.

Thank Chuck, that makes sense its just that apart from O2 phones all of mine have been Nokia & its an OS that
I am used to and am happy with whilst this one seems like cack to me. oh well I suppose That I should have bought a second hand Nokia....

yes i find that Nokia are the best for me as with their pc suite you can do anything with it when its connected to my comp not so with my lg shine cant even back it up on the comp there is no "pc suite" that works with the shine model,don't know about other makes

Yes Deggers I agree with you PC Suite is great I use it all the time for making & downloading ringtones,music &
pictures etc. I always have had Nokia phones and for me there is nothing to touch them !!
