A tale of woe. I inserted the memory card from my Sony camera into my computer, viewed the pictures, created folders for the pictures then created 2 shortcuts on the desktop. I removed the memory disk from the computer, when told it was safe to do so, reinserted the card into the camera- result - no photos on the card. No worries I thought - they're on the computer. No they're not. The shortcuts don't work - the message says that the relevant drive isn't connected etc. I imagine the pics are lost for ever - which is very upsetting as they were of Xmas day and all the family was for once together. Does any genoius out there have any ideas?
If you still have the memory card intact (not been used) pop over to ww.darksiderg.com and search their forums as I recall someone there had a similar problem and a nice piece of software was recommended - once logged in check the "Technical Help" forum.
I did as ZebUK suggested and have found my photos by using Recuva - a free download. I have found my photos and have now copied them into three places!! A tale of woe with a happy ending.
