Transfer Sky Digital card from one digibox to another.

I have two Sky Digiboxes but only one card If I put my card into my second box it will not work probably because it is locked to the first digibox. Do I need to go into the installer menu on the second box and select new installation with my existing card in the slot? Is there a limit to the number times I can do this?

i did this recently but i did it with the help of a sky expert over the phone.  it is possible and i did have to go thru the installer menu.  Make sure your phone line is connected as it does a 'ring back' to your box.

Unfortunately you cant just swap the cards back and forth between the boxes willy nilly.

You have to phone sky to pair the card to the individual box every time you change it over.

They'll probably get fed up with you phoning them all the time aswell!!!   ;o)
