She walked up to him (me dragging my heels in case my punk mates saw me) and very very politely said Hi are you Limahl? The horrible sod hissed at her through his teeth and told her in no uncertain terms where to go and said he didn't want to be noticed. I was furious so stood on a seat in a very very packed station and yelled at the top of my voice 'hey everyone, limahls over there' then beat a hasty retreat.
for those of you too young to remember him, I suppose its on a par with a couple of teenage girls spotting someone from boyzone or whatever band is popular these days.
The opposite was true for me - I had heard tales of Chris Evans and his legendary drinking sessions.
I first met him in 2001 through a friend of a friend, and was politely invited to a pub crawl led by the man himself.
Chris Evans can be accused of many things, some true, some not. What cannot be disputed is that the man's capacity for alcohol is, quite frankly, awesome.
