Strange feeling in back.

I`v been meaning to ask this question for months about a strange irritation in the lower right side of my back. it is just below the right kidney and feels like I have an ants nest below the skin, but if I give it a rub for a few moments it stops irritating for a while. I know that I have a cyst on the right kidney, and wonder if that has anything to do with it. Can anyone enlighten me?

carlton, there is no direct association between the symptoms that you are describing and your kidney cyst.

The irritation? nothing sinister springs to mind.
