Three Peaks Challenge
9 Answers
Has anyone done this before?
Some guys at my work are doing this in June and last night (drunkenly) I agreed to join in. I'm not backing out now but I feel I need to know a bit more about this!
How difficult is it? I'm not unfit, I go to the gym 2-3 times a week (not really since Christmas kicked off though), but I'm not the fittest of people either. Someone said you need to be fit enough to complete a half marathon to be able to tackle the three peaks. Does this sound about right?

you do know it is Ben Nevis (The highest Mountain in the British isles) Snowden, (The highest mountain in Wales) and Scakell Pike, (The highest Mountain in England) that make up the three peaks don't you???? Or are you not doing the national One? There are regional ones too based in the National Parks and so less challenging.
are they walking/climbing or doing them on bikes? Which is another way they do the challenge. years ago when we were in the RAF and my ex was an MRT leader the team used to have to be on standby over the summer if there were any of these challenges being done. It was quite a new event then I think and not as well supported.
here you are then , I hope you get lots of running practise in though.
