I have managed to complete all this crossword apart from 2. I did search for these 2 in this site but no-one else has asked about them, so I guess I must be particularly thick this Christmas!

Can anyone help pl.? 30a. "What's stranded in port maybe after end of strife". I have t?i?e
35a. "Dramatic ace coming across in the carefully worded message". I have t?e?p?a? I thought it was thespian but cannot for the life of me work out how that fits the clue.

Hi. 30a is twine - wine (port) after end of shift (t).
35a is thespian, not 100% sure about this but think it's a (ace) coming across "in the" with the sp coming from honed message (esp?).
Do you know what 50d is? I also got the rest.
