Advice - Japan

This might be the wrong category but I'm desperate to get an artist into the Japanese market. With a small budget but a willingness for hard graft, I've found so far that the only way to crack the Japanese market is to be manufactured. Does anyone have any advice or contacts out there on publications or radio shows? Any help or stories would be greatly received.
