Is the correct postal country address for incoming foreign mail to a British resident Great Britain, or is it the United Kingdom? The former is recommended on the Royal Mail website, but the International Postal Union website (on which this country's representative is Royal Mail) recommends the latter.

Great Britain doesn't include Northern Ireland; United Kingdom does. If you're on 'mainland' Britain, mail addresseed either way will reach you.
