Am I reading too much into this question, or is it a double dive in? I can't find a reference to the name of Tonto's horse in the first Lone Ranger cinema film, I have "scouted " Google every which way. Initialy he did not have a horse of his own and rode two up behind LR on Silver. Hi Ho

This was in a serialised film and during later episodes tono referred to his mount as 'paint horse'. By the end of the serial the name scout was secured. The first full length film appears to have been The Lone Ranger rides again in 1939 and the horse in this film was Scout.
I AM GOING TO GET THIS ONE WRONG.
