In the Childrens Marching Song ( Nick Nack Paddywhack ) What is a 'Deven' rhyming with seven

You must have mis-heard. He definitely played seven in heavon as Cetti rightly says

Thanks to Cetti & Darth. I have looked up the lyrics on several websites and they all say " Deven ". The only one that says "Heaven" is Cetti's link. I'll keep looking. Thanks Willpower. :-)

I always thought it was 'He played knick-knack down in Devon'! (That's the county of Devon, just to spell it out). But I'll admit I've never seen it written down. It's many years since I used to sing it too! Just a thought - that maybe it should be Devon and not Deven? A British version perhaps???
