I suspect the motor, this is not a difficult job to do & can be done in a couple of hrs, If the assumption is correct, you will have to remove the N/S Glove box, Torx drivers + Philips are needed, its a bit fiddly but can save you £££££££ if you can manage yourself, if you intend to do the job make sure you have the code for your radio, you can get a used one off eBay, I bought one for £30, or any 247 car spares, when I had taken out the old, the Fan blades where in a bad state causing a lot of unusual sounds. If I can help ask.
