Can you add to the list of fonts available in hotmail? Mine lists about six from Arial through to Verdana. I'd like to use the occasional wingding etc.

The fonts offered are those that are considered "web safe". That is everyone regardless of the machine they are using, should be able to see them.
What do you think would happen if you sent an e-mail using wingdings (or any fancy font) to a recipient who doesn't have that font installed?

Many people ask for their emails to be received in plain text.

So you could spend ages making your email look really fancy, and the person who gets it would just see it in plain text
