The best place to check would be comparison websites as you can compare loads of insurance companies. Try http://protected.co.uk , http://theycompare.co.uk , also try http://gocompare.com
I already had life assurance when I was diagnosed with cancer which made it difficult to increase cover but I was unlucky enough to have a second bout of cancer just as the premiums had started to drop and now after the third bout I doubt I'd be a good risk in anyone's book.
While I waswaiting for an out patients appointment I was talking to another patient who told me she'd finally got life assurance after her cancer had been clear for 3 years.
I don't know of your circumstances but I'd certainly have a look if I was you.
Peter Pedant sure you would be able to get cover after 10 years.
