Hi Bobbi, is it cold up there?

http://newsarse.com/2...ts-into-long-sleeves/

Customer service is a dying thing, although some places pride themselves on it. Richer Sounds and John Lewis are well known for keeping customers simply because the staff are actually nice!

There was a news story about this recently: http://www.independen...hn-lewis-1858855.html

I hope I provide you lot with a decent level of customer service!

All the best,

Spare Ed

hugh, no , on the contrary, I have worked in CS for many years and would never go in with aggression, all that does is set the person on the line's annoyance at being spoken too in such a way, yes the gay/straight press 1and 2 did occur...honestly.

Hi Ed, in a word it's mind numbingly freezing here..sorry..lol
that was three words, hope you are troll watching and Bobbi will be a happy contented little Bobbi Bunny...LOL

ps any chance of my title being restored, I hate being a commoner like the others..LOLX
Don't know if it's still in place, but if you called 001 800 888-3999 the company you get through to has on of those menu systems on their phone, options 1-6 are perfectly normal (press one for a new account etc) but option 7 says "press 7 to hear the sound of a duck"....... genius :)

(it's a USA number BTW so be aware of international charges if anyone tries to call it)

Hello Chuck this sarted with Hi, welcome to CHAT ALL DAY...lol
it's possibly;y changed, it was a year or so ago that I was sent the number and tried it.

the company was getting about half a million calls a day from people that just wanted to hear a duck :)
When I was in a customer service environment I had this chap on the phone who simply would not accept what I said to him (even though I was quite correct). After several minutes of discussion (him shouting) he asked to speak to my boss.
He then said to her "I bet she doesn't talk to her husband like that"....after being informed that I wasn't married he said "No wonder with an attitude like that!!".............the entire office was rofling.......at me!!

you are sooo right craft, on the other side of the phone ie the person taking the call...OMG the abuse...lol
I actually saw some aggression yesterday, I was visiting where I worked, a large store, the car park has a slight incline to it, this lady came and parked as near the window as was possible..lol any further and she would be in her car in the store !!
when she came out and put her shopping away, the wheels were spinning so there were 4 strapping lads with shovels to help her out, this done, she then turned on the Store Manager..."You the manager???errrm Yes Madam...Why the hell didn't you close this car park then in this snowy conditions...
PMSL...This was after she shopped..
