Anybody tried streaming Internet Radio? We have a Logitech Squeezebox hooked into our HiFi and we can stream radio via the Internet - there are some fabulous classical music channels out there. The quality is excellent, better than out aerial based service.
There is a great website http://classicalwebcast.com/onepage.htm
whichih has virtually every classical broadcasting website listed with links - you could spend all day browsing!

Pleasure, mopsypopsy
I recently bought my 4th set of Wagner's Ring Cycle.
This was the recording conducted by Wilhelm Furtwangler at La Scala in 1950. It was remastrered last year by Archipel.
The reason I bought it (again ... I also have the first mastering) is that it is the only complete recording with Kirsten Flagstad ... the soprano who defines the difference between simple musical brilliance, and outright musical genius.
If I could only take one piece of music to my "desert island" it would be my 1950 La Scala Ring Cycle ... no contest.
