... to the greatest sporting spectacle on Earth ... the Winter Olympics
One to watch ... Eve Muirhead, just 19 yrs old, Team GB Ladies Curling Captain.
Eve has won the last three successive World Junior Championships.

And remember ... at Salt Lake City, the Women's Curling team won the Gold Medals.
Remember? How could any of us ever forget the Scottish ladies, with Captain Rhona Martin, beating the Swiss favourites with the very last stone of the Final. OMG ... it was like Brighton winning the Cup Final (I would imagine, ha ha)
Come on, Team GB !!!

Sorry, Doc ...
But for those of us who sat there, that night, watchingTeam GB scrap it out with the Swiss ...
It was soooooo tense.
That very last stone ... OMG ... I just couldn't breathe as the camera watched it slide towards the Swiss stone, closer and closer, and then ... smack ... the perfect touch, and the Swiss stone was nudged aside, leaving Team GB in a scoring position ... for a Gold Medal ...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gravity?
You haven't tried it, have you Doc, LOL.
Even pretty good skiers, like me, come to the top of the black runs that they use for ski racing, and stand there trying to pluck up the courage to go down them.
It's like looking down an icy cliff face.
When the Games start, I can see I'm going to have to let you know what to watch.
