Hi, I'm trying the cryptic crossword for the first time and have stumbled across some of the answers with the help of Google (I think anyway!), but can't really relate them back to the clue. I would appreciate any help on how these clues point to the answers...

1D - One with measure in pub, say - it's in his mouth -> Incisor?
18D - Origin of claret strangely ignored -> Garonne?
27A - In short scuffle around, find doctor a badge -> Emblem?
22A - Limit cable to be made of copper and manganese, say -> Bimetallic? - what does the 'say' bit mean?
15A - On way home? Not me, good Mr Toad, for one -? Road Hog?

Thanks for any help

Wow, thanks ever so much. You sure all know your stuff :-)
D'oh I meant to say it was an anagram of ignored but then typed in michelle's Garonne.

I think I better call it a day.
