HP IPAQ HX2490 - Problems Connecting to the internet

I have an HP Ipaq HX2490 and cannot seem to connect to the internet via my wireless network. I keep getting messages saying check your wi-fi wep key settings and tcp/ip settings. Can anybody tell me how I can do this. I would be eternally grateful, this problem is driving me mad!

It is best to add your MAC number to your wireless network setting before you add your wireless wep key.
