2 Answers
ok, so there is websites like spark notes and stuff to help with notes on plays etc studied in higher english. but is there a website which has notes on some novels? in particular, i am looking for any notes on 'How to be Good' by Nick Hornby.
Don't really know if this makes proper sense but i'll give it a try!!

1. You are judged on your actions.
2. To attempt to assign some of your bad actions to "exceptional circumstances" or any other excuse is futile. You are not judge as a whole.
3. Doing something good because you get paid is not the same as "being good".
Hope this gives you something of a primer when it comes to actually reading it.

Probably not a very comprehensive answer to your requirement but :-
Brief notes can be found at
http://www.enotes.com/how-to-be-good
Or you could look on book-selling sites for buyers' comments, such as
http://www.amazon.co....qid=1263231660&sr=8-1
.......... where you will find over 100 reviews from customers (albeit mainly very brief).
Alternatively you could pose your same request/question on a book site forum, such as for example :-

Happy hunting !
