Well in the last couple of weeks, my husband has found two empty plastic lemonade bottles in the dirty washing basket (which I keep in the utility part of the garage) - so I dread to think what I've put in the recycling bin! Hope it wasn't my underwear!
Also, last week, I inadvertently threw out a large mugful of fish pellets onto the frozen snow for the birds. It wasn't until I was putting the lid back on, that I realised it wasn't the peanuts I'd meant to give them! Needless to say, the birds weren't very impressed!

I was pouring boiling water over the chickens coop to loosen the ice and i accidentally poured some of the water on one of the chooks. she kept shakin her head every 20 seconds for 5 minutes after, twas very funny. Just for the record, i dont do this sort of thing on a regular basis, i didnt do it on purpose. hehe, was just a one off. :-)

ha ha it really is amazing what we all get up to--cant stop laughing at your replies.
a couple of days ago i ----
walked through the ice and snow to local shops with hubbie,
put on 2 prs of thick socks under my wellies to keep out the cold-- very comfy --
10 mins after arriving home through the snow, he told me that i had been wearing his wellies and not my own. i refused to believe him and realised that he had been right in what he said. the thing was that i'm a size 7 and he is size 11, and how could i ever do that. because we have the same colour and style wellies, i could be forgiven making such a stupid mistake. how mad is that?
I'm still laughing even though it doesnt sound half as funny as it was at the time.
p.s he didnt wear wellies that day!! x
