I think you're getting the site mixed up with a service you might pay for :o)

nope this site used to have great free advice ,the whole idear of , ANSWERBANK, thats why you go to what ever title you want press on that and you used to recive ,good answers ,im not sure maybe you pay for all the questions you ask sara
congrats tim for managing to get 'decent' and 'solicitors' in the same sentence
Are you referring to the question you posted only a few hours ago? Bednobs is one of the helpful ABers on legal matters but slagging off his/her response and calling her bedknob is hardly likely to encourage further input from lawyers. Is it a Civil Law issue anyway at this stage?
no, but I charge per answer. my bill is in the post.

I'd have made a great solicitor!
Your question was posted at 7.45 in the evening and yet within 2.5 hours you are posting again complaining that you've had no decent replies. However in that time you'd had several replies including particularly useful (IMO) advice from bednobs and Themas - both respected contributors to the legal section of AB.
I can perhaps regard myself as one of the more regular contributors to the legal part of the site. I saw your question but felt it had been adequately covered off by the advice you had received.
Your general approach to the wording in the first question, and your impatience to get 'decent replies' (sic) leads me to conclude, rightly or wrongly that you are one of these people who are only interested in receiving responses that agree with your own analysis of the rights and wrongs of the situation you find yourself in - namely, it's all the council's fault.
Also you made two threads. One was called "flooding" with no subject and the other said "my house has flooded". In order to get an answer, you must first ask a question.
