Apparently so. ITV have realised that his entire appeal lies in playing Grant, and that's the only role he can play, so they wasted millions signing him to a deal where he played Grant disguised as other people, for one series only except where Grant played a thuggish brutal thick solider, which was perfect type-casting! I'm sure Ross Kemp is great at playing Grant, but he's definitely a one-trick pony, so he might as well do what he does best.
