Just heard on the radio that Teddy Prendergast has died. Mmm, I thought, he's a bit young - a few years younger than I, what a shame. Then I realised I was thinking of Teddy Sheringham.

Teddy Prendergast - the soul singer, Still only 59 though. No age. :-(

Actually is it the 14th today? It would have been my grandmas's 108th birthday yesterday but she died aged 75 : ( My Mum died aged 72.

I guess I'm lucky to still have two Grand parents alive at my age.

He's been seriously ill for a good while and has been paralised for along time.

Dot is correct....paralysed from the waist down due to a car accident in the 80's and finally colon cancer spread..........such a shame. :0(

Maybe a blessed relief in some ways then? That's not to say that paraplegics or cancer victims can't and don't live a full and valuable life, but what a sad story.
