Pictures missing on e:mails
My friends tell me that when I forward e:mails to them the pictures do not appear. Where the pictures should be there is a blank space with a small box in the corner with a red cross in it. There is no option to click to view pictures. Can anyone advise how I might be able to correct this problem?

Maybe the e-mail you sent uses a link to the real file, instead of the picture data itself, and if you friend's PC can not access the computer/server where the picture file is, he won't see them.
Try sending the picture files as attachments and see if that solves anything.

I get this sometimes - and it's particularly on chain emails (so I don't give it too much thought). Sometimes pictures are suppressed but you can then right-click where they should be and you can then see them. However I know what you mean, genthon, but I've never tried to do anything about it as it's not been important stuff.
Boxtops you are right it is not important. Just wondered if I could solve it and stop my friends complaining. Perhaps the answer is not to send on any joke e:mails I receive with pictures in them but some are really funny and are worth sharing. I think Old Geezer you are right when photos are sent as attachments there is not a problem
