British fruit in the supermarkets
2 Answers
The only British fruits I've found in the supermarkets at the moment are raspberries, strawberries and blackberries, along with cooking apples.
Are there more British fruits that can be harvested in July? Where can I buy fruit to be more environmentally friendly and cut down on the 'food miles' that this produce travels?
While supermarkets do clearly label fruit with its country of origin, market stalls do not always do so.
