What is the likely out come of this GBHsection 18 - with intent charge?
I have been involved with an incident at a bar..
While i was at the bar ordering a drink i had noticed someone from school who used to bully me. I went over and confronted him about bullying me in the past. Everything got a little out of hand and he swang and hit me twice once in the jaw and once on the chin when he went to hit me again i reacted quickly and tryed to push him away (completely forgetting i was holding a pint glass) i pushed him as hard as i could ( forgetting the pint glass was still in my hand) the glass shattered over one side of his face. It resulted in alot of stitches and a scar running down about a 1/4 of his face. He also had to have plastic surgery. I have 2 witnesses saying that he hit me twice and that it looked like a complete accident. While he has none.
I have no previous convictions and no violent back ground.
My bail date is coming up and i am very anxious, what do you think the out come will be when it eventually goes to crown court?
thanks in advance,
Tom Hunt
