What Religion?

Hi all,

I'm just filling in an application form that requires me to give certain examples of past experiences. And basically I wondered if anyone knew what religion it is that requires believers to pray before or after big events. I.e. as silly as it seems but praying before a Liverpool FC game.

Can anyone help out there?

lol @ 123everton... and for all I know he may be right. People pray to whatever deity they believe in; it might be God, it might be Allah, it might be the Great Spaghetti Monster. I don't think what they pray FOR makes any difference. You'd have to ask them.

with regards liverpool worship, i would call it 'futility'. as no amount of prayers will help them now.

i suppose you could call it idolatry.
