Advice.JJ...a friend of mine's sister is studying T the English School in Brighton and in ten days time he is going out to spend some time with her.

I remember Wheelers and Abingers on the front were excellent eating places, but I am sure they will have disappeared by now, so would you recommend:

a) Medium priced "with it" restaurant for "young people"
b) "Upmarket" restaurant for something rather special.

Thanks.

Sorry sqad, I posted my Winter Olympics thread and then went out. So ... restaurants?

This is worrying, because tastes are so different. Around here, you just walk past places and think "Ooh, that looks nice". But here we go, and let's stay reasonably safe.

Young but jolly ...
The Seven Dials in Buckingham Place
Due South in the King’s Road Arches
Sam’s in Paston Place, along towards the Marina
La Capannina on Madeira Drive
The Regency on King’s Road for fish and chips ... a MUST !

Bit older ...
Archipelago’s on the Western Road but it’s Greek, so not my taste
Terraces Bar and Grill on Madeira Drive has a nice atmosphere
The Saint in St James Street
The Ginger Man in Norfolk Square in jolly

Or ... just play safe and eat at The Grand !

Make sure they avoid any of the "chains" ... pizza this, and burger that, etc.

Oh, and tell them to have lunch in the side room at The Cricketers in Black Lion Street.

And send them to the Casino. It's jolly there.

Ooh, yes, and trendy ... make sure they go to the Latest Music Bar in Manchester Street ... the place that used to Joogleberry's ... and tell them to go on a Friday night, and get a table downstairs ... that's important.

Weekend mornings, ... breakfast in The Lanes ... just walk into The Lanes and see where looks most bustling on the day. And then, walk up to The Cricketers for a vino.

Oh, and they should take a drive out to Rottingdean, and have a bar meal at The Plough.

And go for tea at the whacky Tea Cosy in George Street (the Lady Di place).

** stops to take a breath **
On second thought, move The Regency down into the "bit older" group.

Thanks JJ you have done me proud.

My two have obviously closed.

The Plough at Rottingdean........Sunday drinks with nurses, then back to the mess at the Royal Sussex County for an afternoon of prolonged languid eroticism.
LOL ... very jolly.

You managed to avoid stumbling out of the pub and falling in the pond, then !!
sorry to interrupt guys, but "prolonged languid eroticism...."

How nice...how civilised... how horny has just that one refined line made me....
One place which she has omitted Squad is her own Dungeon ! Not sure if she serves meals or not......plenty of Desserts I should imagine !! lol
prolonged languid eroticism = whole afternoon shagging

(saving it for a big finish at the end)

Oh, poop ... sorry Salla ... does that take the smooth edge off it ?
just a bit JJ - but I never said I was averse to a bit of rough, did I ?!!!
salla, where were you when I did my "Are you a Man's Man, Man's Girl, etc" thread, and everyone just took the p!ss ?

red..LOL..I can imagine JJ's place as a small, but "upmarket flat, clean, orderly with plenty of porn DVD's.

She would be dominant red, but I like my women submissive...."No please, stop....please.....but not just yet. OooH! that was simply gorgeous. I do love you sqad"

"Yeah! yeah! I love you too, but how about some breakfast before i go?"
LOL Squad ! Your a man with similar tastes to me.......a good fry-up after the event !! :-)))))
LOL

I prefer to think of my flat as impressively spacious, and upmarket, and exquisitely furnished (with not a single ornament in the entire place).

And I do have some VERY nice handcuffs which I bought at Tickled (for about £50)

Benefit of having no family ... you can spend it on yourself !!

(or gamble it all away, obviously)
Oh, and the porn is just on my lappy, LOL
Not one single ornament? Not one? Not even something sentimental, but classy? You are a disgrace to womanhood JJ ;-)
Question Author
JJ....then tell it to move over and make room for me on your "lappy"

P/S Is "the Ship Inn still there, in the Lanes?
Photos, yes.

Ornaments, no.

Hate them.

Things with sentimental value, in drawers.

If a thing can't be used ... don't stand it on display. It's a flat, not a museum.
There ought to be a pub called The Ship, sqad, but I don't think so. Can you visualize where you think it was?

There is a pub just a bit out of the centre called ... wait for it ...

... The Free Butt

(which could only happen here!)
