In some form of media outlets the negative effects of drugs are explained almost everyday. Therefore I’m assuming that everyone have some knowledge of how harmful drugs can be. Yet, people still continue to use it, and some become addicted. When those addicts decide to quit they get loads of cheers and commiserations.

Why do you think those who’ve quitted should be congratulated when they’ve been warned about the dangers of drugs and its overuse? (I’m not referring to medications.) Personally I don't give a hoot

Crack dealers sell it on the cheap on scraggy council estates just to get the kids hooked then up the price

I believe it's all psychological. Why are people allowing drugs to control them?

If these 'illegal substances' are so good why aren't the legalised?
" I know of it around school gates between pupils (they get it from their homes). "

So they are not dealers!

Dealers buy and sell drugs, not steal and share.

then they mysteriously died, none knew who killed them.
I wasn't being pedantic

"free from unscrupulous dealers"

"forced onto them"

Has just turned into given some by their mates that has been nicked from their parents.

I just think if people are going to warn kids against drugs as they should do, it would be better to be educated about it and warn them about the correct things, not something that was an 80's grange hill storyline.
Question Author
yes Chuck you right, it would be better to be educated about it and warn them about the correct things. but isn't that what the tv ads, newspapers, support groups, religious groups, teachers etc. are doing and still young teens get involved with drugs.
