as said, food and drink can be pricey so take plenty with you.
if you can take bikes then they might be useful - your boys will probably spend most of their time toing and throing to the main centre and in the pool.
have fun.

Hi, Which one are you going to? I have only ever been to the one in the lakes, but have been many times. Gone at all times of year and never been cold yet. Cabins are all centrally heated and if you fancy a log fire you can get the tinder in the shop. Just take yourselves and you will need outdoor shoes, some trainers for indoor stuff and your swimming gear. There is loads of stuff that is expensive, but you can do lots of cheaper things if you are careful about what you do and when you want to do it. We always pack our swim gear in a separate bag, get there early and go to the pool while waiting on the cabin to get ready. Then we go for something to eat while the crowds are trying to get to their cabin and unload, then we get our car and do the same when they are all finished. Going 10 pin bowling early in day is much cheaper, but book in advance, things like indoor tennis, table tennis and badminton and green bowling tend to be reasonably priced and quiet if you book early and over meal times. The pool is also much quiter at about 5ish and your boys are old enough to want to eat a bit later anyway. Take a box of basics with you, cereal, pasta and sauce etc that way you don't waste money on stuff that have at home. I didn't find the shop that bad, it is a bit like shopping at a local store rather than the big supermarket chains. You will have a fab time I am sure.
