airbag warning lights
just stayed on....should i take the car to be fixed or just ignore them

The cable there is for pretensioner firing .. and possibly side air bag where fitted. The pretensioner tightens up seatbelt anchor, that's it. The air bag will still fire. Manufacturers are fussy and require a whole new loom (Ford ones about 300-400 quid) but they may be safely repaired with soldering/heatshrink if necessary. Pull SRS fuse first with ignition off.
